We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated, part time Senior Pharmacy Technicians to join our existing mental health pharmacy services across the Black Country Healthcare sites.
You will have day-to-day responsibility for stock medication for our in-patient settings as well as reception duties in our pharmacy "hubs". You will work alongside our Technicians and Pharmacists as an integral member of our clinically-orientated hospital pharmacy service.
Main Duties of the Job
* Stock topping up
* Recycling of medication
* Supporting outpatient clinics such as our Clozapine Service with ordering repeat prescriptions
* Ensuring correct storage and handling of pharmaceuticals in accordance with relevant SOPs/Standards
* Supporting KPI targets within area of work
This part time role is based on a 5-day (Mon-Fri) working week, with no expectation to take part in an evenings, weekend, or bank holidays rota. Dispensing services are outsourced to a 3rd party. You will be based at our Dorothy Patterson site and have the opportunity to support at other Trust sites.

Job Responsibilities
You will have a passion for medicines management and will work as a respected member of a multidisciplinary team within the Trust. You will need to be resourceful, able to manage your time effectively, and prioritise your own workload.
Minimum Requirements
You should have previous relevant hospital experience, with mental health experience being desirable although not essential, alongside NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services or equivalent.
