About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Newly Weds Foods in Corby. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our plant and equipment, identifying and diagnosing faults, and implementing continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of plant and equipment
* Identifying, diagnosing, and fixing faults and breakdowns
* Carrying out planned Preventative Maintenance
* Facilitating and executing continuous improvement activities
* Liaising with Engineering Manager to plan corrective actions
* Prioritizing and managing workload to ensure minimum impact on production efficiency
* Completion of paperwork
* Supporting all manufacturing facilities as required
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent
* Experience/further education in engineering
* Experience of PLC systems for fault finding and minor programming modifications
* Experience using and installing Variable Speed Drives VSD's
* Excellent communication skills, and able to balance conflicting demands; must be fluent in English at a Technical level
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Computer literate
* Basic Health and Safety and Basic Food Hygiene Qualifications
* Experience and knowledge of delivering CI activities
* Knowledge of the FMCG food industry (desirable)
* Knowledge of up to date maintenance techniques and policies (desirable)
* Basic project management skills (desirable)

* Salary – £42,000 - 48,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
* Location – Newly Weds Foods, Corby
* Working hours / pattern – Double days, rotating 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00
