You will coordinate, track and control multiple tenders which relate to Illumina's broad cutting-edge product portfolio.
As a Tender Specialist, you will be a vital part of our Commercial Operations Team. You will work closely with our sales, service, finance and contracts/legal functions across EMEA and get involved in some truly exciting projects involving improving human health.
Why You
You will be a strong administrator, preferably with experience in tender coordination. You must be fluent in English and speaking an additional European language/languages would be advantageous. You will work on multiple tenders at any one time and thrive at meeting business critical deadlines in our fast-paced environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills as well as a collaborative style. You may have worked in life sciences or clinical diagnostics in an administration role and it would be a benefit if you have used Salesforce previously.
To be ideal for this role, you will have a strong administrative background and preferably experience within bid management, marketing or business development.

The Role
You will be responsible for administration of the full tender process, reviewing tender requirements, assisting with quotations, preparing submission documentation and ensuring each proposal is reviewed and approved before submission.
Key responsibilities include:
* Undertake and complete PQQ, RFQ submissions and technical/compliance information to accompany tender bids and responses to expressions of interest
* Download/upload tender documents via procurement portals
* Manage clarification questions/responses
* Maintain a library of frequently used documents and standard responses
* Liaise with colleagues to gather supportive data and works information
* Manage the approval process before the tender is submitted
* Create and collate information as required including CVs, technical information, statistics and presentation slides
* Create production of final documents
* Review all tender documentation prior to submission, checking for errors/completeness
