Job Title: Commissioning/Service BEMS Engineer Location: Based out of the Harefield Office covering the South East and London Accountable to: Commissioning Manager Profile: - Fantastic opportunities for permanent commissioning/service BMS engineers to join a growing BMS controls company. Due to continued growth and client requirements, we are looking to expand our engineering team in both our commissioning and service departments, with individuals that are keen to develop themselves and be part of the growing success of the business. Role: - The Commissioning/Service Engineer role Reporting to the commissioning manager/service manager, you will be responsible for:- Commissioning BMS projects including integrating with third party devices via, BACnet, Modbus, Mbus, etc. Completing associated reports and commissioning documentation comprehensively. Demonstrating systems to clients and answering their queries. Supporting the commissioning and service teams in the day to day running of the departments including problem solving, trouble-shooting and technical support. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high technical standard. Completing and submitting weekly timesheets and expense claim forms at the end of every week. Carrying out routine service visits and validations of our clients installations. Cover callouts and breakdowns during the normal working day and as part of the callout rota. You will be required to work on multiple projects in parallel so good time management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will present themselves in a professional manner and have a proven track work record within the BMS industry, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A positive approach to work and a can do attitude are essential. Our clients operate in various sectors including; health care, education, high end residential and commercial, as such you will need to be prepared to embrace various environments, be presentable at all times, and will be required to pass DBS vetting. Key Skills: - Essential:- Sound working knowledge of basic computer programs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven track work record within the BMS, Electrical/Mechanical or HVAC industries Electrically competent to follow safe isolation procedures – desirable, training will be provided Driving license H&S Accreditation – CSCS or equivalent Asbestos Awareness certified advantageous - Training will be provided if required Experience: - Previous experience of building controls/BMS is essential, ideally with working knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium systems Good working knowledge of control panels and drawings Electrical experience/qualifications - desirable Remuneration: - We believe that investing in our people and providing them with the skills they require to realise their development potential, provides a happy and fulfilling work place.
