Job Description
As the Head of Property, you will:
1. Lead the Property Department in developing and executing housing service strategies.
2. Oversee both the Asset Manager and Facilities Manager teams to ensure efficient operations.
3. Manage the effective delivery of housing services to address a backlog of issues for the council.
4. Engage with stakeholders and partners to advance housing objectives.
5. Prepare and manage the department's annual budget.
6. Identify and implement best practices in housing service delivery.
7. Respond to and resolve complex housing issues.
8. Develop policies and procedures that comply with regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
You should have:
1. Previous experience in a similar role with a housing association or local authority.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
4. Effective stakeholder engagement and partnership skills.
5. Experience in budget management and financial planning.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of housing regulations and best practices.
