My client, an outstanding business in the surrounding area of Weybridge, is looking for a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. Hybrid Working - Hours: Monday-Friday, 37 hours a week Key Duties: Calculating purchasing income invoice and accrual values using distributor statistics and supplier trackers. Collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers to confirm purchasing income invoice values. Generating invoices using bespoke software. Precisely recording invoice values on the Super Category invoice trackers. Performing reconciliations between accrued and invoiced purchasing income values, investigating discrepancies, and resolving queries with internal stakeholders. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of purchasing income. Coordinating with Credit Control to address debt issues. Approaching tasks with professional scepticism and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Continuously reviewing processes to identify and implement changes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures at all times. What they're looking for: Previous experience in analytical or financial roles. Working towards or aspiring to achieve AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications. Exceptional numeric and analytical skills, particularly in Excel. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly commercial environment. Strong planning and organisational skills to manage multiple work streams within tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of communicating with stakeholders at various levels. Ability to analyse and evaluate large volumes of information and data from multiple sources. Consistent attention to detail and accuracy, delivering high-quality outputs.
