JOB PURPOSE
Join our dynamic Analytics team at the heart of Burberry’s Supply Chain. This integral role supports Supply Chain Executives by delivering insightful analytics and key performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity if you are data-driven and thrive in a collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with multiple departments, you will leverage centralised data to drive analysis that supports critical business objectives and initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Analytics, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing timely reports on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
2. Supporting the Line Manager on ad hoc or exceptional analysis.
3. Providing KPIs for various functions within the supply chain based on the objectives.
4. Understanding the Supply Chain end-to-end process and the importance of the critical path to identify any issues from data analysis.
5. Working closely with other team members to communicate analysis to the business.
6. Regularly attending cross-functional meetings within Supply Chain to ensure open communication and up-to-date information.
7. Improving Supply Chain operational processes, measuring KPIs, and enhancing on-time delivery performance.
PERSONAL PROFILE
1. An understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations in the retail and wholesale luxury environment.
2. Advanced Excel skills.
3. Good knowledge of SAP.
4. Experience with SAP and strong analytical skills.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
1. Reporting - delivery of timely and accurate reports to the business. Evolving and designing new reporting where necessary.
2. KPI Analysis - providing insightful measures of KPIs to drive better supply chain processes and performance.
3. Strategic Analysis.
4. Efficient communication of data analysed and summarised impact to the business.
