As a TA3 SATS Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, providing targeted interventions to help them succeed in their SATs. You will assist in reinforcing core subjects like English and Maths, providing tailored support to ensure students meet their individual learning goals. This role is crucial in building students’ confidence and helping them perform at their best during their SATs exams.
In this role, you will work alongside the class teachers to deliver focused SATs intervention sessions, monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of the children. You will help assess their understanding, provide constructive feedback, and create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with staff, parents, and carers to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
We are looking for candidates who have experience working with children, particularly in preparing for SATs or similar assessments. A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially in English and Maths, is essential. You should be able to adjust your teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs, with the goal of helping every student achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
