We are recruiting to a Buyer & Catalogue Administrator role, providing procurement support and catalogue management expertise for the Trusts procurement systems.
Working within a proactive and professional team, the post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your procurement skills managing the Trust product catalogue within the Integra procurement, Nexus catalogue management system and Evolve Inventory Management System Catalogues.
You will ideally have procurement systems knowledge and experience of working in a procurement environment and a working knowledge of third-party product catalogue management systems, in addition, procurement office and buying experience would be beneficial with a working knowledge of requisitioning and ordering processes.
As well as catalogue administration, this role will provide procurement advice, assistance and support to all the departments within the Trust and assisting procurement colleagues with the delivery of projects as required.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 18th September via Microsoft TEAMs.
• Purchase products and services to specified requirements.
• Undertake the negotiation of commercially effective agreements and contracts.
• Support departmental objectives in opportunities to achieve value for money for the Trust.
• Assist to Develop best Practices.
• Actively promote team working and customer care in department.
• Participate in continuous review of processes, practices, and development.
• Actively support and assist in all administrative duties of the department.
• Undertake routine and ad-hoc maintenance of purchasing databases and electronic purchasing and supply systems.
• Being the first line help with any purchasing requirement for all departments and wards within the Trust.
