Job summary To provide high quality reception services for the Trust, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and Customer Care, act as a first point of contact to patients, relatives or other members of the public. The post holder is expected to organise their workload in accordance with the demands of the Department. To co-ordinate his/her activities to ensure efficiency of service within the organisation. He/she should exercise initiative and it is vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times. He/she cover other receptionists duties when applicable due to staff shortage/sickness/annual leave. Main duties of the job To provide full administrative and clerical support to the ward team and medical staff. To be a full member of the ward team, and assist in the smooth running of the ward.
