Regional Head of Service
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £60,000 Basic per annum + uncapped bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced and dynamic leader with a proven track record in service operations? We are working with a reputable client in the commercial vehicle sector who is seeking a Regional Head of Service to take charge of service operations across the Liverpool region. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, drive operational excellence, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
As the Regional Head of Service, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising service delivery, managing a team of service leaders, and ensuring that the department meets both customer and business objectives. The role requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and an ability to implement operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operationally responsible for the entire Service function, ensuring it runs at full efficiency.
2. Lead and communicate the department's vision, driving engagement and performance.
3. Foster a positive, hands-on culture, ensuring team members are motivated and supported.
4. Extensive workshop control, including loading and management of service operations.
5. Ensure compliance with dealership and company standards, including quality and environmental policies.
6. Facilitate staff training to maintain high service standards.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
8. Achieve and maintain dealership standards and KPIs, contributing to business growth.
9. Identify and implement operational improvements to boost efficiency.
10. Build and nurture a positive team culture in line with company values.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Extensive knowledge and experience within the commercial vehicle or automotive sector.
2. Proven experience working with leading brands, ideally in the truck market (e.g., DAF, Mercedes, Scania, or Volvo).
3. A solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
4. Positive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic, with strong leadership abilities.
