An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Administrator to join an award-winning FTSE 250 company based in High Wycombe.
Responsibilities
1. Commercial responsibility: Tracking and collecting rebates to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
2. Onboarding New Suppliers: Assessing requirements and managing the full onboarding process for new suppliers following approval.
3. Reporting: Analyzing procurement trends using internal reporting tools.
4. Best Practices: Driving best practices within the business around preferred supplier routes.
5. Communication: Managing a busy inbox and supporting the internal sales team.
6. Supply Chain Collaboration: Working with UK and multinational supply chains.
7. Growth Opportunities: Potential to progress into Supplier Development and performance management roles for the right candidate.
Candidate Requirements
1. Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Operational roles.
2. Knowledge or experience of the IT channel is advantageous.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills for building relationships.
4. Highly organized and process-oriented.
5. Proven negotiation skills.
6. Ability to run reports and analyze data using Excel.
7. Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
9. Ambition to succeed.
