Day-to-day of the role: Support named students with learning difficulties or disabilities both inside and outside the classroom. Facilitate students' full access to the curriculum, ensuring they can achieve their potential. Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies that improve educational outcomes for students with additional needs. Assist in the preparation of learning materials and adapt according to the specific needs of students. Monitor and support the progress and attainment of students. Provide feedback to teachers and parents to help further support students’ educational development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar role, or a graduate aiming to gain experience before pursuing teacher training. Strong passion for education and improving outcomes for young people with additional needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience working with young people in educational or related settings is preferred.
