An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Rotherham Furnished Homes service, and we are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and support to our customers.
Rotherham Furnished Homes is a fast-paced workplace, providing quality domestic furniture and white goods to RMBC tenants. Supporting the Furnished Homes and Temporary Accommodation Warehouse Supervisor, the Maintenance Officer role predominantly involves the delivery, installation, and collection of white goods and furniture to RMBC tenants. The role also involves conducting repairs, replacements, warehouse duties, and the general maintenance of over 140 emergency accommodation properties throughout the Borough.
The duties include daily lifting and carrying white goods and household furniture into various properties, in all weather conditions.
You will ensure excellent customer service is given to our existing 5,500+ customers and all new customers, be a positive team player with a collaborative approach to work, and can also work well independently.
