This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled quality professional with experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction to join our innovative and growing organisation.
As a Quality Engineer, you will assist and support the Quality Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the supply chain and product quality.
The Role
Specifically, you will co-ordinate the logging and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports, ensuring robust corrective actions are established and implemented, while promoting quality, environmental, safety, and health (QESH) principles.
Working with the QESH team under the supervision of the Quality Engineer Team Lead, you'll play a key role in minimising quality issues across the Sapphire product range, whilst driving continuous improvement throughout our supply chain and wider business.
Additionally, you will:
* Support rework activities on-site to address product snags
* Promote a customer-focused approach across the organisation
About You
To be considered as a Quality Engineer, you will need:
* Experience in a similar quality role within a manufacturing, engineering, or ideally a construction environment
* Experience as a systems-based Quality Engineer
* Experience of mechanical engineering and assembly techniques
* Experience in process development and improvement
* Working knowledge of ISO 9001, with awareness of BSEN1090, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
* Previous involvement in 3rd-party audits
* Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively
* Proficiency using Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* A CSCS qualification
* A formal engineering qualification
* To be an Internal auditor to ISO9001
* A full, valid driving licence
