Our client, a well-established family business in Cricklade, is looking for a full-time office administrator to join their expanding team.
This role is working Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30.
Based in Cricklade, having your own transport is essential unless you are local to the area.
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Reception duties (both over the phone and face-to-face), including an ability to problem-solve and act as the first point of contact for many inquiries.
* Assisting with incoming deliveries/outgoing goods (both customer and courier collections).
* General office administration: filing, placing purchase orders, post, stationery, etc.
* Monthly accounting tasks, including entering sales invoices onto the ledger and credit control.
* Processing customer orders.
To be considered for this role, it is essential you must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Proven ability to offer excellent customer service, including telephone and face-to-face customer service skills.
* At least 2 years of proven experience in a busy administrative role within an office environment.
* Confident and able to work on multiple tasks within the working day.
* Strong IT skills using Microsoft Office and Outlook (email). Training will be provided on in-house customer databases.
* High degree of literacy and numeracy.
* Highly motivated, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to check your own work for accuracy.
* Able to work independently, as well as part of a close-knit team.
