Bid Writer Salary: £40,000-£45,000 Full Time Hours Location: Birmingham, B6 The Bid Writer will create high-quality tender submissions to support business growth and retain existing contracts. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to convey the organisation’s services effectively and meet deadlines. This is a hybrid role. Responsibilities Write and coordinate tender submissions for business opportunities in care, support, and housing. Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent messaging and meet deadlines. Address specification and evaluation requirements in submissions. Interpret and present data to support persuasive tender responses. Manage pre-qualifying questionnaires and use tender portals. Tailor responses to local needs using research and evidence. Work on service models, budgets, and pricing schedules. Track submission progress and deliver successful outcomes. Qualifications Degree-level education (desirable). Proven success in bid writing (70% success rate minimum). Experience in bid writing or a similar role. Knowledge of health/social care, housing, or young people’s services (desirable). Skills Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
