Job Summary:
The Performance and Logistics Support Intern oversees and coordinates all logistics operations to ensure the efficient and compliant movement of equipment, materials, and personnel. This role is critical in tracking and reporting deviations from the workflow, enabling the project team to optimize project resources and meet operational targets.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Oversee the coordination of equipment and products transported from SLB facilities and vendors to the port of departure.
* Arrange transportation and ad-hoc cargo (heli-freight) services to meet operational needs and avoid delays.
* Actively participate in Drilling and Wells (D&W) meetings (morning meetings, planning meetings, load-out meetings) to ensure alignment on logistics requirements.
* Maintain and update the personnel rotation (Rota) schedule, ensuring proper coverage and coordination.
* Maintain and update the third-party cargo tracking sheet to ensure accurate tracking of equipment and materials.
* Review KABAL packages to ensure they meet required standards, ensuring all documentation and certifications are in place.
* Pay special attention to flagging SLB WCM/D&M tools as "HCR" (High-Cost Rental) to ensure proper management and tracking.
* Ensure all temporary equipment documents (PE001, Intertek certifications) are attached and compliant with Equinor WR9559.
* Enroll all personnel for the mandatory Mariner safety training and induction.
* Maintain and update personnel documentation, ensuring competency records are organized and accessible in shared folders.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, policies, and procedures related to logistics operations.
* Update and maintain logistics documentation to ensure accurate, up-to-date records are always available.
* Promote a safety culture within the logistics team and maintain a safe working environment in all logistics-related activities
Preferred Skills:
* Ability to work autonomously, following multiple workflows simultaneously while ensuring all deadlines and expectations are met.
* Competence in risk management, with the ability to assess and quantify risks associated with logistics and operational processes.
* Familiarity with the KABAL system utilized by Equinor for logistics and performance tracking.
Essential Requirements:
* A relevant bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering discipline.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Valid right to work status in the UK for the whole duration of the assignment (12 months).
