We have a very exciting opportunity to join our Supply Chain Leadership Graduate Program which is crafted with recent Graduates in mind, designed to launch you into a career within this industry.
This is a full-time programme lasting 24-30 months which offers a unique opportunity to rotate across various supply chain fields. You'll get on the job assignments in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management & Analytics, Procurement, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
This role will be based in our Godmanchester site to give you as much hands-on exposure as possible, but what's really exciting is that you'll get to be part of a Global Programme, with colleagues across the world!
What will you be doing?
You will join our programme which is crafted to attract top performing talent who have graduated from a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar field.
In this role you will work on process improvement projects, focusing on ways to propel Smith+Nephew forward while also advancing your own career!
As a participant of the program, you will:
1. Learn inside and out, the Smith+Nephew supply chain business processes and supporting systems.
2. Take part in development opportunities aimed at familiarising yourself with Smith+Nephew and the medical device industry,
3. Build presentations, perform analytics, or other tasks that can be presented back to your key partners.
4. Develop an understanding of relevant compliance and quality standards.
You'll also be assigned a dedicated mentor who will support and coach you towards success.
What will you need to be successful?
Our successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics or similar subject. Or, if you’ve got si
gnificant experience in a supply chain operations based role, that works too.
You should be highly adaptive and able to work both independently and as part of a team as you'll be working with multiple business areas within this role. Good analytical skills, strong communication and project management abilities are important too. You’ll need to enjoy assessing and analysing technical problems and developing solutions to thrive in this programme.
