*37.5 hours per week hours
( Monday to Friday, usually between 0830-1630, some flexibility required)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Case Worker/ Employment Advisor in our Day Service in Ipswich.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person who commits to improving outcomes for disabled people.
You will work closely with local authorities, families, schools, and partners to support disabled adults and young people to get the best opportunities through our services at Papworth Trust.
You will need to be confident and motivated in your approach and have excellent administrative and organisational skills
Key description of the role: -Case Worker & Employment Advisor ( Disability) - Ipswich, Suffolk
Working with the Local Authority and local stakeholders to gain referrals for our services - could include visits to schools, colleges, etc so some flexibility required
Providing a single point of contact for customers wanting to join our services.
Assessing the customers’ needs and coordinating a programme of attendance as part of their personalised journey.
Building strong and positive relationships with customers, enabling them to make well-informed choices, and supporting them in achieving their goals.
Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and professionals to support the customer's journey
Conducting Initial Assessments, Risk Assessments, creating Support Plans, and reviewing progress to ensure outcomes are achieved.

Have the ability to effectively network to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
Good knowledge of job market opportunities
Strong administration and knowledge of Microsoft packages
Experience working with customers with physical and learning disabilities
The ability to support an individual’s progression to achieve goals
Have excellent customer service and telephone skills
Have an empathetic and caring nature
Be well organised and can work calmly under pressure
Have the ability to manage own workload and to ensure targets are achieved
Be a people person with good communication skills
Be a team player
Support with other tasks required to meet the needs of the customer
