Job Specification Manufacturing Operatives (Skilled & Semi-skilled). Gray & Adams (Ireland) Ltd is currently seeking both skilled and semi-skilled Manufacturing Operatives to join its growing team in Newtownabbey. The overall purpose of both roles is to manufacture refrigerated trailers and bodies in accordance with company standards and procedures. Key Job Requirements: Successfully deliver high quality workmanship and attention to detail. Adhere to company Health and Safety policies. Implement and maintain high standards of housekeeping. Comfortable working as part of a team. Undertake regular training to achieve and maintain proficiency in all aspects of the role. Essential requirements for Semi-skilled roles: Mechanically minded with a talent for hands-on working. Ability to complete work within required deadlines and allocated hours. Possess a basic knowledge of Health & Safety principles within a working environment. Prepared to work flexible hours when required. Willing to learn different skills and undertake training as required. Essential additional requirements for Skilled roles: An apprenticeship qualification such as coachbuilder, mechanic, welder, electrician, plumber, joiner or similar. Able to contribute to improving productivity. Desirable Skills: Hold licenses for some, or all, of the following: Forklift driver. Crane operator. HGV Class 1 driving license.
