We are hiring to our medical reception team. As this is a complex role previous GP Medical Receptionist experience is essential along with team working and excellent communication skills.
If you have other relevant admin experience within a GP practice that would be a bonus! Baking skills would not go amiss either.
Support for an approved apprenticeship programme or other related qualifications is available for all our team members.
We will consider candidates who may wish to work either part or full time. Your skill set and what you would bring to the role matter more to us than your preferred hours of work.
Main duties of the job
Toundertake reception duties, signposting patients to the appropriate healthcare professional within the practice or related service such as Pharmacy First, First Contact Practitioner, Minor Injuries Unit.
Booking patient appointments, managing tasks and other work streams.
Inviting patients for health screening, vaccination services and for health monitoring.
Providing front desk reception services for patients and visitors attending the surgery.
Managing patient correspondence.
