IT Director - Slough - Salary £100K (DOE) As IT Director, you will work closely with the senior management team to identify and prioritise technology initiatives that align with the company's goals in a fast pace and growing business. You will also be responsible for developing and managing the IT budget and ensuring that all IT projects are completed on time and within budget. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the needs and developing the architecture of the company's information technology operations and infrastructure, including the creation and implementation of IT strategy, processes, services, and solutions to our users and customers across the different business units. Part of this role will be the development of a business service to resell network services and you should have some experience of working with customers and developing a profit generating service. The successful candidate will be agile, strategic as well as a good leader and communicator across all levels of the business. They will have a genuine drive to deliver high quality service, improve systems, resilience, and security across the business. Responsibilities: Responsible for the smooth running of all IT operations across the business units managed from our UK Headquarters covering sites across UK and Europe. The role is Office based at our HQ location. Direct the development and implementation of company-wide information and communications systems which provide all required support to company operations. Leadership of the IT Department, directing staff and resources ensuring they can carry out their responsbilities to the required standards. Provide a company-wide source of expertise on information technology and communications to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision-making and accessing data. Budgeting for management of operational and capital costs across business units both on a yearly planning basis and incremental as new business units come online, to ensure financial targets are met. Service specification and vendor selection for service provision, including but not limited to internet connectivity, VoIP telephony, endpoint and device security, network infrastructure, management, and third party services. Future requirement to manage the SSRS developer(s) and Application support project management, covering in house Operational Scheduling and Fleet resourcing applications and the future requirements of the business.
