This position is a unique opportunity for a well-motivated and driven Pharmacist who is looking to make a difference in the local community.
We’re looking for a confident and inspiring team leader, with excellent customer service skills and sound clinical knowledge.
You will be a pharmacist working as single cover, with a well-staffed team of dispensers, medicines counter assistants, and delivery drivers.
Your main duties will include:
* Accuracy/clinical check the dispensing work produced by the dispensary team.
* Support to staff to work within good practice and within the SOPs of the quality management system.
* Help maximise additional private services opportunities.
* Motivate and train staff.
* Carry out flu vaccination in the winter season.
* Take part in locally commissioned services.
* Assist with customers' clinical needs.
* Be up to date with all legal regulations and understand the workings of the NHS contract.
* Form excellent relationships with local GP surgeries and stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Be the Responsible Pharmacist.
* Be fully compliant with GPhC standards.
* IT literacy/Maximise use of the PMR.
* Have access to SCR.
* Happy to use new technology wherever needed.
