You'll be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering all aspects of our weddings offer, ensuring a memorable and seamless experience for our couples. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 1170 hours per year and on average, you'll work 22.5 hours per week but again, this will be flexible depending on operational demand. This will be discussed further at interview stage.
Internally you'll be known as a 'Weddings & Functions Co-ordinator'.
What it's like to work here
Reporting to and working alongside the Senior Visitor Experience Officer, you'll join a small, busy team where you'll play a proactive role in the delivery of weddings and other events. Due to the nature of the role, regular weekend working and occasional evening work will be required.
What you'll be doing
You'll manage all aspects of wedding preparation and delivery, including decorating the space and moving & arranging furniture, liaising with suppliers, managing volunteers, welcoming guests, coordinating drinks receptions, clearing down the event, and handling any last-minute issues that arise. You'll also take a lead in the promotion and publicity of weddings. To a lesser extent, you'll support the Senior Visitor Experience Officer with the delivery of our wider events & activities programme, ensuring visitors leave with great memories of our beautiful site.
