Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

• Base: £60,000 - £70,000
• OTE: £100,000-£120,000+ (Realistic)

Role Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business and managing existing relationships within the healthcare sector. This is a pure sales role with a heavy focus on business development, requiring a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves a balance of new business development and account management, with territory allocation determined based on the candidate’s experience and existing network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate new business opportunities.
* Engage with key stakeholders in NHS Trusts, including operational managers, Chief Operating Officers, Directors of Operations, and other decision-makers.
* Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities within the existing NHS Trust customer base.
* Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consultative sales approach.
* Work closely with internal product specialists and solution consultants to deliver effective product demonstrations.
* Manage sales pipelines and report on key metrics to senior management.
* Collaborate with the partnership team to drive upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
* Stay informed about industry trends, NHS procurement processes, and competitor activities.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven track record in a hunter-style sales role, ideally selling into the healthcare sector.
* Experience selling software solutions, health tech, or related services.
* Strong knowledge of NHS structures, procurement processes, and decision-making hierarchies.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in healthcare organisations.
* Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working autonomously. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Experience working in an SME sales environment is preferred; candidates from larger enterprises must demonstrate a strong network and direct sales ability.
