Interim Pastoral Manager - SEMH Independent School - Potential Temp to Perm
Location: Cheshire East and Stockport - Two sites
Pay: £200 - £250 / day - Depending on experience
Leader Group is thrilled to be partnering with a dynamic and forward-thinking group of SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) independent schools to recruit an enthusiastic and committed professional for the role of Pastoral Manager. This is an incredible opportunity for a pastoral lead looking to make a significant impact in a supportive, values-driven environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Pastoral Manager.
The successful candidate will:
1. Work with the Management to be an enthusiastic champion of the students, staff, and their achievements, in order to promote the vision, sense of purpose, and pride throughout the school.
2. Be professional, friendly, and respectful towards all colleagues and address any concerns through proper channels.
3. Be professional, friendly, fair, and firm with students, demonstrating values and core responsibilities.
4. Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to safeguard all students in the school.
5. Be friendly, helpful, and welcoming to parents, carers, and other visitors.
6. Ensure appropriate targeted intervention is applied to students from vulnerable groups, monitoring and evaluating success.
7. Actively promote positive behaviour across the school.
8. Work closely monitoring students with Behaviour Support Plans, Pastoral Support Plans, and EHCPs.
9. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, SENDCo, and other colleagues as appropriate to support students in the school.
Our ideal candidate will have:
1. A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
2. At least two years' minimum experience working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
3. Experience in a similar role within education.
This is an interim position with the possibility of going full time.
