Performing Arts Technician

We are looking for an organised and dynamic technician, with genuine passion for Performing Arts, to join the team at Sutton High School, a selective, independent school for 900 girls ages 3-18. You will be responsible for providing high quality technical support for drama, music and dance performances.
The role of technician is 36 hours per week, term-time only + 10 days, This role will involve some evening and weekend work during productions and rehearsals for our busy schedule of performances.
The position requires a good knowledge of stage lighting and sound technology, so you must have either training or experience of performance lighting and sound and you will be comfortable working at height. The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide variety of people at all levels, so candidates must be effective communicators, with strong interpersonal skills, flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to work as part of a team.
