Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will support the financial operations of the organisation by assisting with various accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our financial processes and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within the finance sector.
Responsibilities
1. Assist with data inputting across two systems
2. Matching and coding invoices
3. Assist with Supplier statement reconciliations
4. Assist with resolving supplier and customer queries
5. Liaise with Suppliers, Purchasing and warehouse to deal with any invoice queries on deliveries or pricing.
6. Assisting with bank reconciliations
7. Expense claims and credit cards
8. Banking
9. Petty cash posting and reconciliation
10. Adhoc financial projects and any other duties as required
Requirements
1. PC Literate
2. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and Sage 50
3. Good attention to detail and communication skills
4. Able to work in a team and use initiative to work alone
