Support Worker We are looking for support workers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support, regardless of qualifications or experience. Job type: Permanent, up to 48 hour contracts available. The shifts are 12 hour shifts (3 or 4 per week) and inclusive of weekends. Salary: £12.25 per hour. WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP About our service A stunning manor situated in the picturesque village of Deanston, Doune. The service benefits from large grounds on the edge of the village, close to local amenities. The service offers a high standard off nursing care and supports people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behaviour. The home provides 3 individual and independent suites accommodating up to 6 in each, with a further two studio apartments on the ground floor. The role · To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans. · Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way. · Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice. · General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care. · As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
