LEGIONELLA RISK ASSESSOR - INITIAL 5 YEAR FRAMEWORK

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
We are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join an experienced team working on NHS projects in South Yorkshire. You'll be responsible for carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically, ensuring risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly, and carrying out other operational work from time to time to ensure contractual commitments are met.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake legionella risk assessments in accordance with:
1. Approved Code of Practice
2. British Standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS#removed#
3. Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: SafeWater in Healthcare Premises
2. Complete risk assessment paperwork and reports accurately.
3. Engage in operational work to meet contractual commitments.
Qualifications:
1. City and Guilds risk assessment training (or equivalent).
2. Experience in Legionella risk assessing.
3. Knowledge of risk assessment guidelines and experience in the water industry.
4. Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols.
Skills:
1. Good planning skills.
2. IT literacy with the ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity.
3. Ability to draw schematic diagrams.
4. Full UK driver’s licence.
5. Ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.
This role starts in January 2025 (or earlier for the right individual) when the new 5-year framework commences.
