The New Logo Account Executive (Business Development Executive) in the Financial & Professional Services sector, is pivotal in driving business growth by managing and expanding a portfolio of new prospects and lower-spending large enterprise accounts. Your primary focus will be identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, building strong, long-lasting relationships, and reactivating dormant accounts. You will lead sales initiatives and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to position Colt's solutions effectively, delivering strategic, customer-focused engagements within a defined region.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop and drive initiatives to secure new business and maximise cross-selling opportunities.
* Create and implement effective, data-led strategies to prioritise and manage client activities.
* Build and nurture relationships, aligning Colt’s products and solutions with client business objectives.
* Work collaboratively with Customer Success to strengthen client relationships and boost revenue.
* Engage with Marketing and GLG (Global Lead Generation) teams to ensure quality lead generation.
* Consistently achieve or exceed individual sales targets.
* Lead and mentor virtual sales teams, supporting strategic account planning and execution.
* Accurately manage forecasting and pipeline activities using proven sales methodologies.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Demonstrated success in securing new business opportunities.
* Experience managing complex, multi-divisional, Fortune 500, and international client accounts.
* Ability to engage confidently with C-level executives, delivering impactful presentations and consultations.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of forging strategic relationships.
* Strong negotiation skills, effectively representing both client and company interests.
* Excellent analytical ability, turning complex data into actionable business insights.
* Proven experience in collaborating with and guiding cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Service Delivery).
* Solid understanding of technology and data networking, with a commitment to staying current in the evolving technology landscape.
* Decisive and confident, underpinned by solid business acumen and financial understanding.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
