One of our clients, a leading specialist electrical engineering contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Civil Site Supervisor for a 10-month freelance assignment starting in May 2025.
Working alongside an electrically-biased Site Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in the management and quality control of civil works on a high-profile infrastructure project.
The Role:\n
As Civil Site Supervisor, you’ll act as the boots-on-the-ground civil lead, supporting the Site Manager and ensuring all civil elements are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
The role will primarily focus on monitoring, inspecting, and driving quality control throughout the works.
Key Responsibilities:\n

Oversee day-to-day civil works on site
* \n
Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
* \n
Liaise with the Site Manager and civil subcontractors to maintain smooth operations
* \n
Carry out inspections and quality audits
* \n
Maintain accurate records and reporting
* \n
Support HSE compliance in line with project requirements
\nIdeal Candidate Will Have:\n
\n
* \n
Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor on utility or infrastructure projects
* \n
Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and quality control procedures
* Experience working alongside or under a Principal Contractor
\n
\n
* \n
SMSTS or SSSTS and relevant site certifications
