A client within the Public Sector based is currently recruiting for a Project Manager (Fire & Building Safety) to join their Asset & Compliance team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, permanent position, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a housing association within a building safety environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to be responsible for leading fire and building safety projects across a diverse portfolio of homes, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Managing actions from fire risk assessments and overseeing fire safety upgrades, including fire doors, alarms, and ventilation systems.
Leading high-profile safety projects, such as compartmentation surveys in high-rise buildings.
Managing project budgets of up to £1 million, ensuring efficiency and value for money.
Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, Approved Document B, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, The Fire Safety Regulations 2022, and The Building Safety Act 2022.
Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects effectively.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will require:
An HNC, Degree, or Diploma qualification (or equivalent) within the built environment.
Experience managing fire safety works within the social housing sector.
