Design Manager – Events Business
Location: 2 Days Office Based, London
Leading b2b events business seeks a highly talented Design Manager to join their marketing team and support with in-house design requirements.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled graphic designer to join our client’s marketing team and support with their in-house design requirements. The work will consist of creating and editing their digital event brochures, reports and partner banners, and creating design collateral for their event signage, such as roller banners and stage sets.
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms. This candidate will support and help drive the brand forward as they grow.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
2. Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
3. Create and refresh branding for current and new product offerings, according to the branding guidelines
4. Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate designs are created efficiently
5. Build and maintain a library of materials, templates and manage the regular process of refreshing and updating design.
6. Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
Profile of Candidate:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
2. 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
4. Driven individual, with a ‘can do’ attitude and plenty of initiative
5. Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
6. Ability to multi-task and handle projects on tight timelines, with accuracy and attention to detail
7. Excellent project management, organisation and communication skills.
8. Excellent knowledge of best practice of design across different design mediums including, but not limited to, brochures, reports, emails, social, onsite signage etc
