Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Manager
Job Location: UKO, London Hybrid (Home and Office)
Salary: £33,405 per annum based on 35 hours per week (plus ILW if applicable)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract to the start of May 2025
Could you play a central role in maximising and delivering high quality, high value long term relationships with corporate partners? Could you account-manage strategic, existing corporate partnerships? Can you ensure they meet their objectives and financial targets, exploring and developing any additional added value opportunities which further benefit the organisation?
What will a Corporate Partnerships Manager's job involve?
1. Develop and lead effective and mutually beneficial partnerships with existing major corporate partners. This will ensure the maximum return from our relationships with them; developing strategic account plans and working to achieve agreed partnership goals and meet fundraising and engagement KPIs.
2. Build trusted relationships with partners and internal stakeholders. The aim is to foster collaborative and effective ways of working, manage expectations and solve any problems effectively.
3. Work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnerships Business Development team. This should progress prospects into long-term corporate partners as well as support the growth of existing partnerships. You’ll also share knowledge and expertise to input on strategy and partnership development as needed.
4. Support the development and implementation of the Corporate Partnerships team strategy.
5. Through collaboration and the application of business development skills, identify and develop opportunities within the Red Cross to unlock new support, grow and renew existing partnerships.
6. Line management: motivating and developing your direct-report through regular 1-2-1s and appraisals.
7. Support Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Corporate Partnerships with budgeting, forecasting and planning process as required.
8. The post holder will be expected to act as lead for key projects and campaigns, for example, UK and International Emergency Appeals; Corporate Volunteering initiatives and other appropriate projects or campaigns.
What will a Corporate Partnerships Manager need to be successful?
1. Strong understanding and experience of corporate fundraising and/or corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the opportunities and challenges related to both.
2. Proven ability to form positive, productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders (at all levels).
3. Highly developed ability to verbally present information to a range of audiences, in an inspiring and confident way.
4. Substantial experience working in a partnership management or corporate fundraising role.
5. Significant experience of managing high value partnerships, with the proven ability to meet fundraising targets and maximise other opportunities.
6. Experience of building strong and effective donor relationships at all levels, including senior management to deliver integrated, collaborative partnerships.
7. Experience of planning and managing complex projects working across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
8. Experience of line management including coaching and developing members of staff.
