Job role:
We are searching for a skilled Estimator who will be responsible for creating customised estimates, which includes material costs, labor costs and initial budget for each project. Responsibilities:
* Prepares clear and concise estimates by including all necessary information like prints, RFIs and specs
* Generates preliminary construction schedule
* Establishes and maintains subcontractor and vendor relationship
* Communicates with team and trade partners on new and upcoming projects
* Analyzes data and produces forecasts
* Reviews progress and prepares periodic reports for management
* Performs risk analysis
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as an Estimator or in a similar position within the PAINTING AND DECORATING INDUSTRY
* General construction experience a plus
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office and popular construction software like Timberline
* Familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions
