We are currently looking for a Quarry Supervisor to join our friendly team based in our Tarmac Killerby Quarry in Northallerton, Richmond. As well as Northallerton this site is easily accessible from Northallerton, Bedale, Leyburn, Richmond, Catterick, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Harrogate, Thirsk, Ripon and the surrounding areas Were working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and its important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds. Main Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Section Manager, the Quarry Supervisor will assist in the management of a busy quarry. As Quarry Supervisor you will also be responsible for: Operating fixed and mobile plants Administrative and compliance duties Using computer systems (Fortek, SAP, Excel and similar platforms) Housekeeping tasks and general maintenance assisting the fitting team Adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures and encouraging others to do so Supervising a team (Operators, Fitters, Electricians) across both the quarry and asphalt plant Occasional night shifts and weekend working that will be on a rota basis Work with other Plant Supervisors to ensure the plant is always running to its expected capacity and in line with the manufacturing and production programme The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for the role of Quarry Supervisor will have previous experience of working within a Quarry and or Asphalt plant environment or similar. Supervisor experience is essential.
