We are now recruiting on behalf of our client for a QA Engineer / QC Engineer / Documentation Engineer
with an immediate start.
Position: QA Engineer / QC Engineer / Documentation Engineer
Location: Based in Swadlincote
Contract: 6 - 12 Month Contract with possibility of Permanent role.
Salary: GBP20 - GBP25 per hour, PAYE
The role of Document Engineer will involve:
1. Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department and document transmittals.
2. Prepare transmittals and distribution of all documents and correspondence effectively and maintaining the logs.
3. Inform project team members of all revisions, and additions to project documents.
4. Providing management tools such as Status Report/Input Audit Report and any other form of monitoring report required by Project Director, Construction Manager, and Quality Manager.
5. Ensuring that all documentation is stored in accordance with QA System.
6. Collating material certification and matching to purchase orders.
7. Liaising with material and equipment suppliers to obtain missing certification.
8. Collating all required documentation and compiling a complete technical O&M manual in line with procedure, inclusive of material certification, equipment manuals, pressure testing documentation, technical drawings.
9. Collating documentation to satisfy the UKCA marking & 3rd Party insurance review processes.
10. Supporting the project team with validation documentation where required for pharmaceutical projects.
11. Understanding and complying with industry regulatory documentation requirements, i.e., GMP Pharmaceutical documentation requirements.
12. Compile eDocs for electronic submission (using Adobe Professional; training will be provided).
13. Compilation of Project Sign-Off documentation.
The Document Engineer will need to have the following experience:
1. 2 years experience in document management, archive management, or records management.
2. Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection techniques.
3. Knowledge of engineering documents, drawings, and approval processes within projects.
4. Knowledge of pipework, welding processes, materials, and welding codes and standards.
