Your main duties include:
* Responsible for washing the restaurant dishes and all the kitchen utensils.
* Cleans all the larger items of kitchen equipment and the food production areas.
* Taking direction from kitchen staff and restaurant management in the delegation of tasks.
* Receive deliveries and store them in the stockroom.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that our culinary team can operate efficiently.
Duties
* Assist with the cleaning and sanitising of kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain high hygiene standards.
* Support chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks.
* Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and readily available for use.
* Manage waste disposal effectively, ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
* Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
* Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Experience
While previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is advantageous, it is not essential. Ideal candidates will have:
* A keen interest in culinary practices and food preparation techniques.
* The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude towards helping others within the kitchen environment.
