We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician in the Oxford area to join on of our market leading teams, working with a housing association to deliver high-quality responsive maintenance services. You will play a key role in ensuring electrical safety, diagnosing and repairing faults, and providing exceptional service to tenants.
Salary £38,000 - £45,000 plus On call
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and fault finding in occupied and void properties.
* Ensure all work complies with current regulations, including BS 7671 and other statutory requirements.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruption to tenants.
* Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and issue relevant certification.
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
* Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure clear communication and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
* Inspection and Testing Qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395).
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within social housing or domestic settings.
* Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and building regulations.
* Full UK driving license.
