We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Designer to work with our driven and enthusiastic Cheltenham team. Our designers are interior and kitchen specialists who use their in-depth product and technical knowledge to create exciting designs for kitchens, bedrooms, and all rooms in between.
Designing a kitchen is like throwing a party; you want to create the mood, get the ingredients right, ensure a flow of people, and provide space to prepare, dine, drink, and dance. Our designers consider how the space will be used and who will be using it. Whether it's the dream of a reluctant gourmet, a budding chef, or a hungry family of four, we design to reflect these differing requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
* Arrange in-store consultations and home visits to determine all requirements.
* Create, present, and exchange thoughts on innovative design schemes.
* Inspire, excite, and support our customers from design concept to installation or delivery.
* Update and maintain accurate customer records using various software packages.
* Manage multiple projects, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout.
* Actively contribute to the growth and development of the store.
Our stores are open 7 days a week, so it's important that you have the flexibility to work during the week and at weekends.
You'll ideally bring a design-related qualification and a passion for interiors, along with confidence in using design software (AutoCad preferred, but training can be provided). Exceptional communication and organizational skills, a highly proactive attitude, a detail-oriented mindset, and a flair for creativity are essential. A full UK driving license and the ability to travel to customers' homes are also required.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, a great range of benefits, and the opportunity to be part of an exceptional and dedicated team that makes a difference.
What Benefits We Can Offer You:

Our Story:
Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune designs and makes pieces for your whole home. Recognized for our exacting standards, design-led aesthetic, and expert craftsmanship, we're perhaps most known for kitchens - with heirloom-worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune's trademark 'look' is British: refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We're also respected for our commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
