We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to lead a busy Parenting Assessment Centre based in Lancashire.
About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Centre. You will ensure the smooth running of assessments, oversee a dedicated team of staff, and play a key role in safeguarding children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership and direction for the Centre, ensuring a positive and professional working environment.
* Oversee the delivery of high-quality parenting assessments in line with statutory frameworks.
* Manage and develop a team of staff, providing support, training, and performance management.
* Ensure the Centre meets all regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
* Contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives.
* Build strong relationships with partner agencies, including social services and the courts.
Person Specification:
* Qualified as a Registered Manager (RM)
* Strong background in social work or a related field
* Proven experience of managing and leading a residential setting
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* In-depth knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
