We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual with amazing communication skills to take on a unique position in our Academy and make it their own.
About the Role:
This is a new role with huge potential for the right candidate to shape it into an exciting opportunity. This will be a critical role in the Academy with the successful candidate working closely with all Academy stakeholders and ensuring that EHCPs and Annual Reviews are highly effective and inclusive.
Your application should demonstrate your experience, commitment, knowledge and passion for working with children with SEND and Autism, along with a willingness and enthusiasm to contribute further to the wider life and ethos of the school. The successful applicant must be committed to their own professional development and be willing to engage in training opportunities.
About Us:
Medeshamstede is a warm and nurturing special school for 117 pupils with Autism. As part of ensuring the very best offer for our pupils and families, we want someone to lead all things associated with the EHCPs.
The Medeshamstede Academy opened in a new building in June 2013 to provide education for students from 4- 16. We are an all through Academy in which our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for communication and interaction with a diagnosis of Autism as their main presenting need. There are currently just over 100 students on roll.
The Academy is on a rapid improvement journey and the new leadership team are working hard to ensure students receive the best education possible.
