Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will support our team of Project Managers with a focus on English and Scottish onshore wind projects.
Main responsibilities:
* Support the Project Manager and project team to deliver projects by delivering internal and external milestones and approvals.
* Create and maintain good long-term relationships with other Vattenfall departments and external consultants involved in the projects.
* Help promote a safety-conscious, professional team.
* Communicate with landowners, public officials, and other local stakeholders.
Location
The location of the position is Hexham, Northumberland with the flexibility of agile/remote working (subject to necessary government advice and instructions).

* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

* Studying a relevant degree or have a relevant educational background.
* Basic project management knowledge.
* Ability to adapt easily to different environments (political stakeholders, farmers, government officials, business partners) and manage these different settings.
* Good communication skills, report writing, analytical and presentational skills.
* Good IT skills and competent in using the Office 365 suite.
The successful candidate has to be prepared to, on occasion, travel and work out of office hours. A driving license is desirable but not essential.
