Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Nuttall are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Onboarding Administrator to manage the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting process for employees working on a nuclear-regulated construction site (Hinkley Point C) based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The role requires the efficient handling of all onboarding cases, ensuring compliance and timely processing of all required documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring new employees are vetted and onboarded in line with industry standards and project requirements. Your mission As Onboarding Administrator, you will be responsible for the following: Manage the end-to-end BPSS vetting process, including collecting, verifying, and submitting required documentation. Process all onboarding cases within required timeframes to meet project deadlines. Obtain and file all relevant documentation to ensure 100% compliance. Administer the Onboarding Portal, ensuring all content is up to date and accurate. Ensure accurate data input into the system to maintain records and compliance. Liaise with applicants to request required information for the vetting process and follow up on any outstanding documents. Collate, check, and process information for the HPC pre-employment screening through the in-house screening portal and submit applications for approval. Ensure new starters are competent and qualified for their roles, following the competency matrix. Proactively manage all aspects of the vetting and onboarding process to enable staff to commence work as quickly as possible. Collate and process DBS requests, ensuring all legal requirements are met. Maintain compliance by uploading and managing relevant documents in line with processes. Make bookings for required inductions, necessary appointments, and visitor access to the site. Verify ID documents to meet legal requirements. Methodically manage and organise documents, ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain and monitor the database to ensure all colleague qualifications are up to date. Work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, pressurised environment to ensure timely onboarding and vetting. Who are we looking for? Qualifications: Modern apprenticeship in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience. CITB HS&E Operators certificate will be an advantage. Experience: Proven track record in all aspects of Administration in a fast-moving environment. Whats in it for you?
