The Position Job Title: Apprentice Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Course: Level 2 Supply Chain Operative Apprenticeship Duration: 12 – 15 months EPA Location: Stoke Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Salary: £17,000 Role and Responsibilities: A warehouse operative role provides a varied workday that includes: Assisting with the unloading and loading of vehicles and the checking in and out of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves. Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule. Full Inventory and Location checks ensuring accuracy on the Inventory management system. Operating a Forklift As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets. This role best suits an upbeat and self-motivated individual who enjoys working systematically and productively. Skills required Competent working with Microsoft systems Good organisational skills. Self-motivated. Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks. Team player with a ‘’can do’’ attitude. Forklift License (Desirable) but training can be provided.
