Role: Electrician
Location: Site Based (Various) – Scotland East Coast
Hours: Full-time, 37.5hrs per week, flexible hours + overtime
Salary Range: Based on SJIB rates
About the role
Following sustained business growth, exciting opportunities have become available for additional Industrial Electricians to join our team. Our customers are manufacturing production sites and as we work in the whisky industry, our solutions will often be installed on high tier COMAH sites and within hazardous areas (ATEX) due to alcohol vapour.
Our Electricians are responsible for site based electrical works including Power Distribution Network Installation and associated Cabling, Containment, Control Panel Installation and more.
There is opportunity to work on a variety of customer manufacturing sites, within a project team. There is a support network as well as broad training available to allow you to achieve your professional development goals, while putting learning into practice.
Main Responsibilities
1. Installation, glanding and termination of various cable types eg Power, Instrument, Communications,
2. Installation of various forms of cable containment systems eg Tray, Ladder, Box Trunking, Basket.
3. Installation inspection and test.
4. Panel Assembly (new build and on-site modification).
5. Panel Testing
6. Liaising with the Project Manager at all stages of the project lifecycle.
The Person
What we need from you:
7. Be a dynamic and proactive team player who strives to deliver high-quality work at the highest level of customer service.
8. Minimum 1 year experience as an electrician,
9. ECS (Trade) Card
10. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
11. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
12. You must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
