Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a leadership role within a prominent large contractor in the water industry? Our client, a leading contractor known for delivering exceptional infrastructure projects, is looking for a proactive Project Manager to oversee critical water infrastructure initiatives within the Severn Trent region.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Oversee procurement processes, ensuring materials and services meet quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct regular progress meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing clear updates and addressing concerns.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all project activities.
Manage financial performance, including budget control, cost forecasting, and reporting.
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the water sector or related infrastructure industries.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
A degree or professional qualification in project management, civil engineering, or a related discipline (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP).
Familiarity with the Severn Trent Framework or similar utility frameworks is highly desirable.
