ABOUT THE ROLE
The role involves owning a region for Hexagon Geosystems UK within the wider group of the combined external sales team. You will be responsible for maximising rental, sales, service and support revenue opportunities for a number of targeted, specific, named accounts. You will also be responsible for all other sales opportunities within the region, including competition accounts and incoming leads. Alongside securing revenue from specific accounts, it is vital to ensure we grow the revenue in each of the industry and product specific sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
* Manage existing core named accounts within a given territory.
* Own the territory, including all unnamed accounts and leads.
* Develop & maintain sales and rental turnover, whilst generating profit.
* Expand among existing accounts and identify new target customers within the region.
* Generate solution sales revenue from new and competition customers.
* Develop positive relationships with customers at all levels.
* Maintain excellent customer service levels and strategic insight.
* Promote the company's technical expertise and ensure differentiation from competitors.
* Maximise customer share of wallet for the wider Hexagon Geosystems UK team.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximise market share.
* Assist internal sales and business development departments.
* Work closely with Regional Sales Manager to achieve company targets.
* Gather market intelligence and feedback.
* Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks.
* Work with technical support to meet customer training and support requirements.
* Assist in developing and maintaining CRM system.
* Adhere to established processes and workflows.
KPI's:
* Achieve targets set for specific region, accounts, entities or responsible area.
* Achieve wider team and group targets.
* Adhere to CRM policies and financial processes.
* Complete all online training requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience in the UK construction/surveying market.
* Continual development of attitudes, knowledge and skills required to carry out the role.
* Entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethic.
* Excellent account management skills.
* Knowledge of a wide range of surveying/engineering equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability.
* Willingness to travel.
* Adherence to Hexagon values.
LANGUAGE:
English fluent written and verbal
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Domestic travel will be required for this role.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Fluent working knowledge of Office365, competence with Business Warehouse and CRM software solutions (e.g. Salesforce.com).
